I’m Gabrielle Carre, a painter based in Hossegor, France.

Through my work, I explore light, movement, and the landscapes that surround me. My paintings are inspired by the ocean, travel, and the places that leave a lasting impression.

I create original artworks as well as bespoke commissions, with the intention of making paintings that naturally become part of the spaces they inhabit.

Each painting is a step in my journey. I enjoy exploring new techniques and allowing my practice to evolve, with the desire to create work that feels increasingly true to who I am.

Born on Réunion Island and now based in the Landes region of France, I draw inspiration from these two places, where water, open landscapes and light are ever-present sources of inspiration.
